Gian van Veen won his fourth title of the PDC Development Tour 2023 and moved to top of the Order of Merit. Jarred Cole won another Saturday's event defeating Rusty-Jake Rodriguez in the final in Hildesheim. Last title of the weekend goes to Czech Republic as Adam Gawlas secured his first title of the career!
Development Tour 13
Van Veen started his campaign with whitewash and Last 256 win in Dutch derby agains Owen Roelofs. Then he whitewashed another Dutchman Levy Frauenfelder and in Last 32 in one of the best matches PDC Tour Card Holder Danny Jansen 4-3.
He won all remaining matches of tournament by a single leg, although he was losing 3-4 against Lewis Gurney in the semi-finals.
Wessel Nijman reached his second final in a row and led already 4-1 against Gian van Veen but 21-years old van Veen turned out the match and won his fourth title on 2023 Development Tour. Van Veen also moved top of the Winmau Development Tour Order of Merit after this triumph.

The second event of the day brought some suprises in the first round, as Tour Card Holder Danny Jansen, PDC Development Tour 1 winner, Christopher Toonders, or DT 9 winner, Ciaran Teehan, lost their matches.
Jarred Cole played some pretty though matches, defeating World Nr. 61, Lewy Williams, 4-2 or PDC Development Tour Order of Merit Nr. 2, Luke Littler, in the last 32 4-1 with average over 103! He demolished also Tomáš Houdek, Dominik Gruellich or Cam Crabtree. Even Rusty-Jake Rodriguez cannot resist him and lost 1-5 in the final.

Adam Gawlas started last youth tournament of the weekend with 4-3 win over Dutch Moreno Blom. Czech young star played fantastic darts in last 32, defeating Jack Male 4-1 with average over 100. He continued with wins against Jacob Gwynne and David Schlichting and reached his first final of the season after 5-4 win over Jurjen van der Velde, despite loosing already 1-4.
Final match was very aligned with both players keeping their serve. Gawlas however, stole the first serve of the game in the deciding leg, needing only 14 darts to win his first ever title in the PDC!
