But the second title of the day already ended in Dutch hands as Wessel Nijman defeated Dylan Slevin 5-1 in the final with awesome average 100,34. The 22-year old defeated the Development Tour leader, Luke Littler, 4-1 in the last 32 and played top-level darts also in the following rounds defeating Jurjen van der Velde and Croatian Filip Ljubenko.
Rusty-Jake Rodriguez could not stop him in the semifinal and Gian van Veen lost 4-5 to Dylan Slevin in the second semifinal match.
Nijman already won the PDC Development Tour 6 and with his second title of the season he is now on the third place in ranking. Pretty good results for the player who came back on tour early this year after a suspension of more than two years for involvement in a match-fixing scandal.
