Ted Evetts on Track for Pro Tour Comeback After Strong Q School Performance

Ted Evetts, the former PDC World Youth Champion and ex-Tour Card holder, is edging closer to a professional comeback. "Super Ted" shone on the second day of PDC Q School, securing his ticket to the Final Stage. He was joined by other notable players, including young talent Nathan Girvan, veteran John O'Shea, and James Atkins.

Kai Fan Leung, a participant in the recent PDC World Championship, fell short in his final match but has practically secured his progression with five points. Fallon Sherrock, despite a round-of-16 loss, is safely through with four points, solidifying her place among the top 79 in the rankings.

Well-known veterans Robert Thornton and Andy Hamilton face an uphill battle, as their two points leave them outside the qualification zone. The outlook is even grimmer for Ciaran Teehan, a former PDC Development Tour and Challenge Tour winner, who has won just one ranked match so far.

Scott Waites, a Grand Slam of Darts champion, finds himself in dire straits, needing nothing short of a miracle on the final day. With no points to his name, he joins Conan Whitehead and Mark Dudbridge—both former top-tier players, with Dudbridge having reached the finals of the PDC World Championship and World Matchplay—deep in the standings.
