Players from all over the world are fighting on Tuesday in the First Stage of PDC Q-School. We already saw some fantastic performances in both, Brittish and also European tournaments.
Brittish Q-School
Former CDC Continenatal Cup Champion, Alex Spellman from United States is playing brilliant darts on Tuesday. American player lost only three legs in three rounds, having the best average 106,01 in the second round against another favourite Jim McEwan.
Another highly followed name, Fallon Sherrock, also won all three matches and is almost certainly in the Final Stage of Q-School as she has 5 points in the ranking now. Some tough times are ahead Mark McGeeney or Ciaran Teehan who lost today without adding any point.
Former Tour Card Holder, Alan Norris, lost his second match of the day and will have to add more points on the last day of the First Stage. The same holds for the young star Leighton Bennett.
European Q-School
Max Hopp who one the best dart player of Germany a few years ago, lost his first match of the second day against another well-known player - Dennie Olde Kalter 4-5. Hopp has only two points the ranking. His fellow countryman Lukas Wenig lost in the second round against Roman Benecky from Czech republic 2-5 and has also only two points in the ranking. Benecky defeated in the third round also former World Championship player John Michael.
Probably the best match of the day was between Jeffrey de Graaf and Haupai Puha. Swedish player de Graaf won 5-4 despite loosing 3-4. Andy Baetens, who did not gain any point on the first day, won both matches and lost only one leg. Baetens had quite solid performances with average over 90.
